Have really enjoyed the experience of the new technology.
Edmodo was and is a great tool. The orginal drawback and still today is the slow connection speeds when the whole campus is online.
One of the features I enjoy about Edmodo is the ability to assign work, tests etc. online.
One of the drawbacks is a feature that I love about another product I am trying, (Insight 360), that is tracking test scores, With Insight 360 you are able to assign a test with standard and get a print out with all the data that you would get if you were using DMAC.
So far I have not been able to implement Ebackpack because the students don't know their login information. I would love to use this software further but don't have time this year to train all the students in something new.
Will continue to implement all I can till the end of the year as I have believed since I started teaching 15 years ago that each student should have acess to technology and utilize it as their main source of education with us being facilitators and guiding them along the way.
